Re: Its that time of yr again - SNOW

haha u guys are lucky if ur just now getting snow , it snowed back here in october , been negative 20-30 at night

lol its been so cold here it shattered the windshield in my truck when i turned the defroster on , not to mention the condensation that collected in my muffler and froze putting a nice big crack in my muffler . its been a brutal winter so far and we aint got the worst of it yet , that happens around late january

i do plan on having the iroc back on the road right after xmas though im looking foward to having some fun in the snow with the iroc

Gumby you just gave me an idea. I always figured that if nobody wants my V6 stuff then I could just build a racecar out of whats left of my parts car. It would be a nice novelty.

Well maybe today is the day, Bird has been burried in snow all winter in the front yard. but has metled down to the top of fenders, dug a sort of ramp in the ice n snow in front, maybe I can get it out before everytihn turns to mud and its really stuck.

Gas is to high again, not to drive it.

Weather man sucks, rain never happened. not a bit of snow under, should be able to move back n fourth enough to burst out but dammed if the tires arent frozen to the ground. Just smelled clutch, no move ..............

"WAS" still stuck, couldn't even push it out with Subaru, took a small and large floor jack to poop the front tires lose of the grounds grip. large to lift body, small under aarms to force them lose. Rear were just spinnin away.........

think my trans mont is shot, forward load has the shifter rising high in the pocket and alt rubbed on STB.

same dam problem I had with the torque arm mount, tranny mount is fine, the threads on the center bolt in cross member are being pounded off.

Re: Its that time of yr again - SNOW

Sucker was even double nutted, wont even come lose, was real tempted to just weld the stud to the cross member so it can't lift anymore, but still so darn wet out, raining.

temp fix, 10,000lb ratchet strap wrapped a few times and sinched down to keep tranny and cross member as one.......

Hmmm, makes me wonder if its not trans mounts I keep breaking. Maybe it isnt the trans mount at all but the torque arm mount; ill have to look into it
