91 3.1 Antifreeze issues. Help!

Hey guys,
Its not really a overheating issue. Several times my antifreeze has boiled. Never really over heats while. Ive been noticing ive been leaking a bit of antifreeze on the front of the motor and puddles on my k member. My first thought was the weep hole on the water pump. But this really doesnt seem right. My hoses are fine. Has new intake gaskets plenum gaskets. It leaks until the overflow is empty and then nothing. The radiator always stays full. Hasnt went down at all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Check where the pipe for the throttle body and heater core goes into the adaptor for the intake. I've had issues there before. It pools in the depression on the block and then runs down the side of the timing cover to drip down by the oil pan. You squeeze the clip to remove the TB pipe and check for bad o-rings on the pipe.

And check your oil and look at your exhaust sometime... Could be worse than you think (head gasket).

Aso thought of freeze plugs but all the leakage is in the front. not the sides.

1. Follow the rubber hoses out of the bottom of the throttle body to the pipe you need to examine. I don't have a pic and I no longer have a factory top end so I can't help much on this any more. All I can say is that if the factory parts are bad, you CAN get a replacement intake manifold fitting but you will need to fight with it to get it to work. You will need a couple extra o-rings on the pipe to get it to seal right if it's leaking.
2. Spraying brake cleaner on the outside of the engine isn't going to do anything if the head gaskets are leaking coolant into the engine. If one of the coolant jacket passages is exposed and open to the cylinders, the coolant will be boiled in the combustion process and come out as sweet smelling steam in the exhaust. Check your oil just in case.
