I have a vacuum leak(?) and I need help identifying some stuff.

So I have been having trouble recently with my car. It is a 1986 Firebird MPFI. It has been having a rough idle, lack of power, and lower mpg. I checked my engine light codes and it read a 23 and 34. I replaced my IAT/MAT sensor but the code 23 still persists. Although I have unplugged my battery to try and clear the OBD memory, I haven't actually ran my car to check it again. That is a minor problem but next is the real issue.

I have a new hose to replace the old plastic one that connected to the circled thing in the picture. I don't know where it goes. My dad saw another connector that was open and connected it to that. My problem still persisted. I have been doing some research and in the Hanes repair manual it says that earlier MPFI v6 models don't have a MAP sensor. Initially I tried looking for it and came up with something that barely resembles a MAP sensor and has a white thing sticking out in the other pictures. This is where I am stumped. Is this a barometric pressure sensor? How come it has a different plug than other parts I see online? Is this where the open vacuum line plugs into?

I recently replaced my MAF sensor so I don't understand why it would be giving me the check engine light. I don't know what else it could be considering I replaced both the IAT and MAF sensor.

I'm figuring out how to put in pictures so it may not be up yet.
