Lifter Problem with big cam?!?!
Ok well I just finished up my 3.4 swap but I cant seem to get
the valve chatter under control....Maybe they are collapsing?
Specs on what im running
280 delta grind
1.6 rocker
.500 lift
with a 305 open pressure
I have a set of blue racer lifters in it with a
1/3-1/2 turn preload(was 1/4 to start)
and I do have a high volume melling pump in it also
Thanks for the help guys most of the time I can get the engine stuff down but this has me stumped

What is the bind hight on the valve springs your using? That .500 lift the cam specs using 1.5 rockers correct? So your 1.6 rockers pop out .533 inches of lift. I'm just curious what the specs are on those springs your using.
So what is your installed valve hight minus you spring bind hight?
