valve covers not tall enough to clear polylocs...
valve covers not tall enough to clear polylocs...
Ok so I got a set of scorpion full roller rockers, and installed them after swapping over to 3/8 studs and now the valvecovers are resting on the polylocs... I heard the fiero valvecovers are like 1/8" taller than ours. Can anyone verify this before I waste the money?

Here is the height measurement of a Fiero valve cover. It's about 2-5/8" as shown, I don't know what the height of a stock VC is.

i ran into a similar problem when i put roller rockers on an s-10, 2.2 engine. luckily it used a cast aluminum valvecover. i bought one at a junkyard and cut it apart to use as a spacer. anyway, thought it might give you some ideas?

had to get/use longer valvecover bolts too.

Thanks for the measurements on the fiero valve covers, I will measure a factory camaro one tonight, at this point, I think my best option is to cut 2 sets of steel valve covers up, and weld back together to make one single set.
