Idle for 3.1L v6 (LHO)
So, can someone make it clear on what the idle should be with this @ the op temps?
It's paired with a T-5. Currently I have the idle to somewhat hitting about 800-900 in Neutral at around 220 degrees.
New TB gasket set, new TPS, all new vac lines, injectors were replaced by previous owner, new IAC, ran seafoam through the engine about 1-2 months ago via brake booster line with 1/4 of it into the gas tank. My TPS apparently isn't adjustable.

Re: Idle for 3.1L v6 (LHO)
In BAWX (latest stick calibration), from 198* F through 241* F the idle RPM is set to 800. Can't really go by the stock tach as they aren't that accurate. A scan tool is much better as the ECM's RPM calculation is accurate.
If the stock thermostat (195* F) has been changed for a colder one the idle RPM will be higher.
RBob.

Re: Idle for 3.1L v6 (LHO)
I have a Equus tach that I use for RPM reading due to the stock one reads like 500rpm off of what my aftermarket tach says at idle, then it begins to read like 1-2k+ off as I accelerate.
I don't have a scan tool for reading all the goodies, but I was thinking about buying one of the ALDL cables from OBD Diagnostics or Red Devil River.
