You may need an adapter to go from the intermidate(The Long A$$ pipe) to your converter. Actually I would bet that you would need one, unless you got a high flow 'verter at the same time(Not a bad Idea) get more from it.
yea, it should fit....but just keep in mind that that has a 3" intermidiate pipe. thats why it is specified for a 305TBI. i have heard some negatives about using 3" intermidiate pipes on v6's. too little back pressure = loss of performance. i put their aerochamber muffler on my 3.1. i called them to see if the 4th gen aerochamber would fit my third gen (they had the same dimensions) and the guys at hooker said they didn't reccomend it cause it was 2.5" (which was why i wanted it). they actually suggested i stay with the stock 2.25". but i went 2.5" with a def increase in performance. just be aware thats a 3" setup. you will be jumping from 2.25" to 3".
i am running 2.5" i-pipe to 2.5" tips (see sig for part #'s)

real good, i am real happy with it. its has a real nice rumble at idle, and when you step on it, it really roars. i shyed away from the flowmaster because i thought it would be too loud for me inside the car, plus everyone and their mom has one. as for the hooker, its plenty loud outside the car, not obnoxious inside the car. you can hear it, but its still possible to have a conversaition in the car at a normal leverl. even at night. def happy with it.

go with the 4th gen muffler if you want a 2.5" I-pipe

stock size is 2.25".....as for type of cc to get. catco is the most cost effective at somewhere around 70-80.00 and will do the job nicely. and then there is always random technologies that makes a great cat but the price tag is now up to 150ish. the random tech cat is for someone who wants to get pretty much each and every pony out of their engine. whether it is worth it or not on a v6 is up to you.
