water pump bypass hose

Does anyone know what the I/D of the water pump bypass hose is on our 3.1l? It runs from the water pump to the heater control valve, about 4 inches long and straight.

Thanks!

It should either be 5/8 or 3/4. Cheap enough to just buy a foot of each and then you're covered.

Thanks drdave88, I knew it would be a cheap simple fix, this Camaro usually is. It's just been too cold and snowy here to get under the hood.

Re: water pump bypass hose

That would just be a heater hose...

The bypass on the 1st gen blocks is a port in the front cover that mates up to a hole in the block. It's near the lower rad hose connection.
