Why is your car overheating? Is it just because of the bad pump or is there other issues?

I have a Stewart Stage 2 pump which I installed to help cool the engine I had built, I was concerned that the stock pump would have a harder time cooling the new engine.

If the stock pump was cooling ok before it went out I would stay with the stock pump ( it is half the price and should last). I looked on O'Riely's website and it looks like you can get a new Masterpro pump with a lifetime warranty under $50.

If you have alot of mods in your car and you think your stock pump is not keeping up go for the Stewart it is an excellent pump and I am very happy with mine.

Ye.. I am pretty sure that its my water pump becuase I removed the thermostat and took off theupper radiator turned on the car and nothing would come out fo the hose only every so often wold small ounces of antifreeze come out, which leads me to beleive thaqt the WP is stuck.....I might just end up going with a stock one becuase I dont really have any mods the engine is pretty much stock just trying to get it to run without overheating on me......

PS: I let the car sit for about 5 minutes in the driveway while turned on and it stvarts overheating.
