Alright, ill admit it i need help.
I took off the intake on my 3.1 just for general maintenance, while doing so i ruined the stud that comes out of the head at the rear of the block under the distributor. i have looked almost everywhere for the studs or the thread sizes. i have had zero luck. if anyone knows the thread size of them, knows where i can buy new ones, or has any they do not need anymore i will gladly buy them. i am looking for both front and back. i took some pictures of the front one. and help is appreciated. thank you.

 

I doubt you're going to find that bolt, unless maybe at a dealer. That's not a common hardware store kind of bolt. My suggestion is start scouring junk yards.

glad to be of service. there are also buy/sell thirdgen facebook groups that specialize in parting out thirdgens that have all the odd pieces like this.

 

Is there a difference between a 3.1 and a 3.4? I think the studs are the same. You know I might be able to pull one out and see. I know I have a few of those. And some in this block. I might end up at the yard this weekend. And I could try to pull those. The 2.8 and the 3.1 are the same.
