valve covers

valve covers

I want to get some chrome ones for my car but i cant find anyone who has them for a 3.1. I see that summit has them for a 2.8 and i was wondering if they would fit on my engine? thanks

call summit, i am pretty damn shure that 2.8 covers fit the 3.1 whats the part number and how much are they?

ok, there are Edelbrock signature series valve covers. THe part number is EDL-4488
They are Chevy 2.8L 60 V6 covers. THey are $59.99 for the set and $6.99 for the breathers, i hope that they work because i think that they would look cool. O, and they are on page 112 in the bottom left hand side

If you don't want chrome ones you can always get a set of red valve covers from a 2.8L Fiero. I'm gonna pick up a set of those one of these days....

From what I remember, when I did some searching for those valve covers, they said at summit that they are for TBI, and Carb vehicles (old fbody, blazers, s10's etc.). They are too tall for the MPI 2.8 and 3.1. That is what I was told by the tech line, so that is why I never purchased them.

I have a set of chromed valve covers on my 2.8 Looks like I need to take some pics of em now.
