Hello all - first post here! I have a TBI 2.8 that I have converted to a 3.1(with aftermarket ECU). Now I’d like to “upgrade” to Camaro/Firebird MPFI.

After initially posting this I discovered a lot of what I was asking on my own. I do still have a few questions, so please read below…

 

Ok, did more digging and now I understand that MPFI is batch fire - which explains the lack of a cam/crank signal.

So let me change my initial question: anyone converted their MPFI setup to be sequential? Is there a novel way of obtaining a cam signal with this engine?
