Re: Map sensor location

I was roaming Ebay looking for NOS parts and saw this.

NOS 1985-89 GM Chevy Camaro Firebird 2.8L V6 Mass Airflow Sensor

https://www.ebay.com/itm/266189834669

Seems a reasonable price to get a brand new NOS GM AC Rochester mass airflow sensor and the elbow duct. Looks as if it is made together. I have no idea how you plan on fixing the broken elbow duct on the front of your MAF sensor but you really don't want a gaping hole in the side of that elbow duct so close to the entrance of your MAF sensor because it's going to disturb the airflow across the MAF sensor and screw the reading up.

I'm not 100% sure this is the MAF sensor you need. Do your own due diligence and find out what GM part number MAF you car needs and make sure this one is it. Also not 100% sure this new MAF and elbow duct will fix your problem and make your Code 34 MAF Low error code go away. But it couldn't hurt nothing except your wallet a little bit.

Thank you! I decided to just get a whole new maf anyways, hopefully it works.
