try this it's in the tech articles of www.thirdgen.org
I posted a thread that was named "how's This for CAI" It had the beginnings of the system that I put togeather. However it does serve those that do not want to "Modify" the front fisca/nose of thier third gen Camaro to use it simply as a CAI. I turned it into a ram air by routing the tubing to the front of the car and cutting out the turn signals and mounting them in a solid filer panel that took the place of the grill. The typical way is using the TPI intakes and fabracating ducts that will grab air from where the Z Fog lights are mounted, but I think the the air has too many directions to go and this causes turbulence in the air flow(A Hinderance). The system I out togeather uses 3 inch PVC/ABS plastic tubing and it(The Air) only has 1 place to go and it not squeezed through the tight passages of the over the radiator intake.
Anybody have pics of car using ram air hood that works on a 2.8. I need a hood and a light fiberglass hood that has ram air will fix both problems

Depends on this intake your making. Onmine they are actually outside the car. I do plan on getting different air filters and having them mounting under the hood after I get the ABS remade into metal tubing. If you go with something like the pic I posted you will need 2 conacal air filters, or if you go 1 90* off the throttle body instead of the Y I used you need 1 conical.
ok.....let me get this straight
ok......so if I use the pipes, but want to run it through the foglight holes, where do I attach the filter? A regular K&N filter wont work, will it? or will it fit inside of the a/c duct, or pipe?? Do I have to cut it??? thanks
