I just got done checking my antifreeze .Well in the past few days , my car has been running a little hotter than normal . When I pulled the cap off , it felt funny coming off , then I saw the rubber seal on the spring circle thingy underneeth the cap kinda getting caught on when I took it off . The cap is prabably not working with the pressure huh ?

Get a stant or a GM dealer item.
You need a real thing
Chrome is cheap construction.
NOW a chrome cover cap is a great idea!

Im working on a cover cap at collage. I'm going to make my cover say the same thing as my plenum, 85 Camaro. I have to finish making my program and setting up the cnc to write the letters onto it. Heres a pic of the plenum emblem.

Wayne, I assume a 15 - 17 lb cap.
Go ask at the dealer or parts store.
Stant makes great stuff.
So does NAPA, it's Stant in a diff name.

Do they make em for our cars ? I dont want the extra holes for the V8s . Thats what I will do the next time I put some wires on , or change those out . The wires I have now look real good with my separators

I ended up just getting a cap , no chrome cap , or no chrome covering . I bought a bottle of chrome paint .Tomorrow Im going to make a hole in a shoebox to fit the cap in so I dont hit the spring or under parts with paint , and Im ganna spray it chrome .It may not last , but I'll just paint over it again
