Who else has run into this???

Ok I just installed my freashly cleaned/blueprinted 350 TPI 19 Lb injectors from CruzinPerformance and I adjusted the FPR by adding a nickle under the spring.(trust me it added about 4-5 PSI) Now the car now has a hesitation until 3K. After that Hold*The*Fu*k on cause it squats and goes. I am thinking its the timing wanting to go back up to 10* maybe even 8* with the additional fuel going into the system.

And where was that Double roller chain at? PAW?. I am thinking of doing that the same weekend I slap the headers on(next week) Spring Break.

WOO HOO. And yes expect headers to be ready during that week. I got the angles of the bends for the set I am going to mass produce that will work with OR without the turbo. It all depends on the crossover as to what your running. I have checked the runners I "wire polished" the other day and they are still rust free. Now they have not been directly exposed to water either, they have just been sitting in the garage and it has been raining the past 2 days.

Depending on haow many sets I can get out quickly depends on how quickly I can pay for the 2 inch die for the cross over. When I get a set ready after Deads, I will sell a set to someone in cali that is willing to jump through EPA's hoops for me to get them CARB tested.

Could it be rich? bolt on those headers and fool with the timing and come back and let us know how it goes.

I am still tring to find out. I have gotten no replies from EPA so I have not the foggiest....

Anyway back to topic, I set the timing to 8* and the hesitation went away. BUT 2 days later(Last night) I moved the car and this morning all the plugs were fouled out and it refused to start. I mean COATED IN FUEL. replaced plugs, gapped to .050 and I plan on reseting the timing to 10*. Would this help out? Any ideas?... I tried to get a remote GM MSD coil but the parts store did not have it in stock(I figure the extra spark would help too)...

You've got way too much fuel for a relatively stock 3.1. I think I mentioned my problems with 17lb injectors almost a year ago now. Keep working with it.

Ok I just emailed Cali's EPA about what is required on the CARB EO stuff... Hopefully by the middle of next week I will have a reply and have a few sets ready to ship out for cali testing(for those that are willing to do this)...
