I bought the 80 series for 74 dollars from PAW, and hacked off the old exhaust myself... i ended up not wanting to just clamp it on, so i had an exhaust shop do it all along with tips for 300... it all depends on what you're looking for exactly.

tips can be expensive.. i say just not have ant tips if u want it to be loud.. it would defiently make it louder by not having them..
u should be able to goto just bout any muffler shop and have it done for bout $100.. that number will vary between shops (diff labor costs).. done in about 1-2 hrs.. 80 series are common and most (well most of them here) shops have them in stock..

Do a search and look for posts by me, I asked this same question a few months ago when I was gung-ho about fixing my cars exhuast and spending money... now I just don't want to think about spending money. (although the car is going in the shop in soon anyway)

yep the 80 series does sound pretty sweet, in the low RPM's they moan like an evil fuel injected performance motor, up high, it's full v6 power. lol. But i do love mine, and yes, it whines like a motha up high, but oh well on that one. And check this price. Got the flowmaster for 80 bux, and had it installed with tips plus a 2.5in. I-pipe from the cat back, new tailpipes, and all clamped no welds so i can change it at will..... for a full 90 bux....haha, all minekee....but i guess it was that old street racer reputation which means the guys think i'll be in there every week changing it off.....well, not much on the racin anymore, but....maybe change just for the helluva it.

hehe, what i always wanted to do was a Hi-flow cat, into a Y pipe, moving into dual glass-pax, then take hte right side and bend the pipe to exit by the passenger door with chrome dual tips, and do the same with the left side, but i think crossing it under that driveshaft would cause some ungodly low ground clearence.
gotta fix that and jack the rear end up 30 feet . lol.

Or buy the full-blown Dynomax catback for $160, and put that on yourself.
