I need to find headers for my 2.8 V6 Firebird.... year 1988....
can anyone give me a site or somewhere that makes em or maybe just a V6 F-body site?

no companies make headers some one on the board is making a set of headers for are cars.

 

That someone would be me. (Surprissed no one else got it before me!) Anyway I am still working on the details but I should have a set ready this week and have pics posted of it.

If anyone read my last post on this I bought a cheapo 12 buck hole saw blade and it crapped out after 4 holes. Ordered another good one today and will be here tomarrow afternoon. I am still tring to get the flanges perfected though so... But anyway peps will tell you price and ect. or do a search for headers IN THE V6 FORUM and you can find out the details. I am also working on getting these CARB LEGAL. California EPA will be my second customer.

They told me that after maybe 1-2 weeks I should have something back... KEEP FINGERS CROSSED.

The headers(No Y pipe ready yey) is $150 plus UPS S&H from Zip 62999. 20-25 pounds.

Once I get the headers installed on my car I will make a Y pipe to fit and it will be $50.(Better then some poeple paying upwards of 300 else where just for the Y pipe)...

pretty damn good price for the y-pipe hunter I was wondering how much I would have to fork out for one of those from someone else . I dont know if you have had that in the plan the y-pipe or just came out with it

yes thats been in the plan all along. No ned top pay 150 for the headers then have to pay that or even more just to install them...


And the reason I am not selling any right now is I do not have any BUILT YET. I got my good hole saw cutter today, and made sure that the collectors were on the way(Guy said they should be here either this friday, or next monday) FYI.

And frankly there are people on the board that have been waiting alot longer... LIKE ME FOR INSTANCE!. But I do need to sell a couple sets so I can afford the die for the Y pipe....
