Now that I've jinxed it,
A friend hooked me upw/some who swapped out thier 3.4 for a 454. It's from a 94 camaro, 34,000 miles, & will cost me gas money to Indy (1/2 way) & $210.00 for for it

Wish I could have a 3.4 dropped off on my doorstep right now! I need one for my 85 S-10 Blazer.
I will have a tranny doing that soon, tho!

have pics of the engine & the two Y/T-pipes together for comparison. It came w/everything as the pics (soon to be posted) will show. The 3.4 Y-pipe is a lot better designed than ours, & I will have to take it to a muffler shop to have the Y& cat convertor hooked up to the dynomax.
Main diffs so far for exhaust are: an actual Y-pipe, O2 sensors in each exhaust manifold. Egr is still on that silly stalk looking thing.
am going to see if I can keep the serp setup, & loose the a/c compressor. will also see about line for the power steering pump.
I'm also going to keep the 2.8 valve covers, as they are silverish color & look better than the 3.4 black.
Now to take time & read the holy book haynes & Karls swap boogie post.
