Finally taking it in....

First I want to thank all of you that helped me with trying to get rid of that crap idle problem I've had forever! Tomorrow I am finally going to take it in to the mechanic and hopefully get the thing fixed. People have told me it's either the ignition module or the timing chain. What do you guys think it will be? Thanks again to all of you!

Well, from what the mechanics say, I am melting the egr valve somehow. And the backfiring is coming from the egr. They are trying to charge me 600 dollars to fix this! Bullcrap I say. I'm going to pick up my car right now. Has anyone changed their egr themselves? Is it hard? Please help me save some money. Thanks!
