if you do go with the Torq Thrust IIs, know that you could never bolt on Bear Brakes with those wheels. i don't think Wilwoods will work either. if that doesn't matter: happy huntings.

Wow, those are some pretty "bling blingin" rims man. I'm sticking with the American Racing Torq Thrust II's (17's) for my 1991 Z28 (L98). I bet 18 inch tires are a bunch of money.....have you checked on a price for the tires yet?

Haven't taken it to the track yet but I'm hoping for mid to high 13's and hopefully low 13's after I get some 3.73's

I forget who makes his wheels but i believe he told us that they are not made anymore. They do look really bad ***! They do not stick out either, they fit nicely.

why is that? is that on teh 16's or 17's. because I want baer brakes and I was going ot do TT2's (17") or some chrome WS6 rims(17") but I"m not going w/ the TT2's if they don't fit baer brakes behind em.

Na it wont effect the height, my suspension is messed up because i practically emptied my engine compartment (emissions, ac, etc.) so it jacked the front up a little... Im fixing it soon. I am running 275/40/17 in the rear and 255/40/17 in front....

Hey, no body answered why won't Bear or wilwood brakes fit on Torque Thrust 2's I'm very interested in this as I am quite taken by the tt 2's but I know down the line somewhere i will want to step up my brake system. If tt 2's won't fit do the 1LE brakes work all around. If any one could answer please do. Thank you.

i am not sure of the 1le performance package would work with tt 2s, bu ti would imagine so. and the answer to why baers won't fit is that Baer blatantly comes out and tells you, i think it has something to do the area where the threads pass through the rotors. not enought depth to bolt on the 2s, i think. check out the Baer website it'll tell you why.

Performance Wheel Outlet is where you can get them, as well as the chrome IROC's! I believe the web address is performancewheeloutlet.com.

Its ok, thats all girls care about. long as its shiny and goes vroom vroom, they could care less it you had a 3 cyl geo motor under the hood.

girls as so easily daziled by shiny things.

id rather have a faded,flaking,pealing,rusting,5 colors of primer with no exhaust, 4 unmatched rims with a nascar engine andtub frame, than a shiny, bling bling, makes teenage girl orgasm when they see the diamond cut wheels, vroom vroom geo with wing and fat daddy system.

Yup that's VERY VERY True.........
I've seriously been leaving school and found random girls sitting next to my car......... .......They don't really car that my car is 10 years or that it's slow, as long as it has shiney rims.....

Well anyway here is a pic....

Alright, that's kind of stupid.....cruizing around in a POS...thats fast....it's not like you can go out on the highway and have a drag race or anything....like...if you go to a car show.....and have a rusty old POS....and have a nice engine...you probably won't win. But....if you go to a car show with a nice shiny car that looks perfect....and has a nice engine that runs good...you will mostly likely win...or you will atleast get some compliments..if I saw someone driveing down the street in a rusty Camaro...but is fast....I'd feel sorry for them....

Some people prefer speed....

Some people prefer looks......

I just happen to be one that prefers looks, so the speed isn't important, but some people rather have a nice engine then a nice car.......to each his own i guess.....

Hate to burst your bubble Gumby but Doves are birds. Dubs are 20 inch rims. You know like 2=double hence dubs. Just wanted to let you know before you accidentally said that in public.
