Yeah that's kind of funny......people gripe when someone posts a common topic w/o looking for it in the archives...........but then people also make comments when someone ACTUALLY uses the search function and makes a post to it.

I've got a set of the discontinued 3rd gen direct fit 17" x 9" Snypers, no specers/adapters needed. 275s front, 285s rear and going to have the front 2 widened to 11" & put 315s on them, then swap the 285s to the front, 315s rear!

That's a TA, not a GTA. GTAs didn't have the fender vents & got sail panel emblems, not decals.

Your not looking in the right places for girls. My first wife insisted on putting in a 3.73 posi rear...headers...racing autocross (Wake up, or I'm going racing today without you! )

Sure with the proper adapters. Do a search, I'm sure you'll find some posts.

Re: Anyone Have 17's on their 3rd Gen??

Anyone know what the lightest 17"x9" or 9.5" is? (Direct fit preferred) I'm guessing they're all still much heavier than a set of 16" GTA crosslace

How heavy are those Snypers, Stephen?

My crosslaces with 245/50s weigh in at 31 lbs, wheel & tire.
I didn't weigh a Snyper before putting them on & haven't taken one off to weigh, but I've wanted to. Maybe I will this week for you.

I take it you don't like Snypers? I can understand not liking the no dish look of the 4th gen styles (along with every C5/C6 FWD looking wheels GM made) but with the dish of the correct offset, I think they rock!
