My chrome 17x9 SS rims
What up people,
I put on my rims this weekend (the ones in the subject) w/ spacers from skulte.com. First thing first-they look great. But....every time I hit the littlest bump or seam in the road-I get a rattle from the wheels.....I drove for 3 straight hours on them (I had to get back to school)and they didn't fall off or anything
but it kinda worries me-don't know if that's normal-anybody w/ the same type of set up experience the same thing? Oh, and what's the turning radius like? Mine sucks-gotta be real careful-but I expected that. Cool-thanks for the help

Could it be the center caps? Had an 88 that had a rattle from the center cap and just used some RTV to hold them in place.

Just a side note, I had a rattle in mine for about a month. When I got around to looking into it, I had left the lug lock adapter on the lug nut. I am so thankful I found it before someone had it through their windsheild.

Well, I put lock nuts on all four wheels-but the key is in my apartment....I talked to a buddy and he said they are just getting "worn in". He has 17" wheels on his eclipse and he said they did the same thing and then they stopped.....but that was on an eclipse.....any other thoughts?
Are you sure it's the wheels. Whats the weather like, I bet it is real cold about now. When I drive to work in the mornings my front end sounds lilke it rattles a little bit, after driving it a while it stops. As long as the wheels are tight and everything fits properly I'd say your problem my be in the suspension, possibly front or rear.
