What do you think? Should I get them with the silver centers, or grey centers? I'm ordering them within the week.

Dam that looks sharp. I'd go with the grey center caps. BTW what size rim and how much?

I want to see a set with the grey centers. I've been thinking about them myself. I believe that the grey centered ones come with a polished outer ring.

RCR, all things in good time! I'll get the hood when I'm ready to tackle the paint. Right now I am running on four very bald tires after replacing the bald-bald tires!

These are 17 x 9.5" rims on all four corners. The price is about $920 per set, plus shipping charges. No spacers needed, as ROH is now making them in the proper offset for third-gen cars. I'll be getting them from Andris Skulte at his hobbyist performance car business, Skulte Performace Designs. http:/www.skulte.com

Yeah, I think a polished outer center with grey spokes would look great. In fact, I'm thinking of having the centers painted midnight sand-grey metallic to match the body color. It looks real good in bright sunlight.

im planning to either get these or ZR-1's, my original choice was BBS RX's but uh, they're like 700 bucks a rim so i'll settle with the sweet ZS's, i'd like to see what other styles there are of them though.

Other than the lettering, I think I just found rims for my car! Those are stunning.

My thoughts exactly. Andris is taking $100 deposit per order and my check goes out first thing in the morning. I think there's an eight to ten week lead-time right now, which is okay, since my car stays parked during the winter months.

No, they are not on Andris's page. He's trying to get some pictures, but I couldn't wait. I had to do some data mining to find them. On a Mudstain webpage, of all places!

I called HP Motorsport and Group A on these wheels 2 years ago! They both told me I could only get the grey wheels in Mustang sizes/pattern!

Those are awfully big pictures to post... it took me about ten minutes just for the thread to come up! Try cropping them to 640 x 480 and using .jpg formats. That will chop them to about 30K apiece.

Hey, if I cannot order the grey centers in the proper offset and wheel pattern, I'll have the new wheels painted with body color.

hrm, i wish there were other colors like blue/white or smth, i dont think that color setup would look good on a 91z, but it would look great on a white/silver/red camaro

I think if you drop the car an inch it would look 1000 times more lethal. I think every third gen should get dropped about an inch though.

Agreed, yet again! I am going to purchase a set of Eibach springs to finish off the suspension. This ought to chop a little more than an inch off the ride height.

Funny thing: The ride height on my '84 hasn't dropped at all in 16 years/133,000 miles. These are the original WS6 springs.

Does Andris have these rims? Well, he has a "source" where he can buy wheels cheap and sell them for mail-order prices and keep some pocket change for spending on his twin-turbo hobby Camaro. He told me that he thinks he can get them in grey, but that ROH is sold out until mid-January. I don't think he's ever sold any grey centered ZS wheels before, because he couldn't get a picture for me. So, can he really get them?? I guess I'll find out soon. I just sent him a $250 deposit.

You know, if you are all interested, we could probably swing a group purchase and save a few more dollars. It would probably pay for the postage, which will be about $65.

By the way, want to know how I got hooked on the dark centers?? Here's my car sitting on the race rubber that I used to hit nearly 1.3 g in the corners:

Yes, it is. I lifted it from a Mustang page. However, Andris has since sent me some more pictures which I included on my webpage:
http://www.isthq.com/~dan/fcar.html

These are the wheels onto which I've placed a deposit. They should arrive in Mid-January.
