I don't think so. Something about a 3400lb car with skinny tires on the front....and tall ones on the back

Well the wall on the front will be like 3 1/2 in and the back will be at 4 in.
Then what do you mean by wider 60's in the front 50's in the back.

rear tires would only be 20mm taller. 10 on top and 10 on bottom... wont even be that visually different.

50 and 60 are the tire profile. If you have a tire that is a 275/50-15... then the tire is 275mm wide and 137.5mm tall since 50% of 275mm is 137.5mm. The tire would be 137.5mm high from the edge of rim to the top of the tread.
----------
Your front tires 205/60-15 are 205mm wide and 123mm tall from the rim to top of tire.
Your rear tires 265/50-15 are 265mm wide and 132.5mm tall from the rim to top of tire.

I like the idea of having as big (tall AND wide) a tire as you can get on the rear, but I would stick with the stock size in the front. The "big and littles" look good on, say a Nova or an early 'Stang but not on a third-gen IMHO.Also, too small a tire on the front my take away from the handling quality of the car.

by making the tire heights so uneven--with different profiles--I don't see how it would handle good at all. Not to mention they are 15" sized.

Low in front and jacked up in the back does not equal good handling. Just save up foor some IROC wheels and 245/50/16--they handled great with that combo.

Just my 0.02
