Re: Wheel Spacers

I recently bought mine from this place:

http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

Made in the USA. Fair price, quality piece, a little slow, but I thought it was worth it.

Re: Wheel Spacers

I have never used them but at $140 a set that is a good deal I think I paid $115 for my Skulte adapters used. I am probably going to polish them so they will look new anyway I guess

Re: Wheel Spacers

You don't need a two-piece. Just the one piece. I also chose to get a hubcentric ring machined in as well. I have a pic of the adapter I used in my thread about my Zr1's in the suspension and chassis section.
Yes, our stud thread size is 12mm x 1.50
The stock center bore is 70.3mm
What wheels are you going to be putting on? That will help you determine thickness.

Re: Wheel Spacers

If you've measured for the 2 inch get the 2 inch adapters. The way I measured for the rears was I jacked the rear of the car up and put a board or something I could slide under the new wheel and tire. I manuvered it into the position I wanted it and took the measurement from the brake rotor to the inside of the wheel. Sort of crude, but it helped me.

Hi guys,
I'm pretty much wrapping up business with Skulte Performance Designs, as I have less than zero free time left over from the day job. Anyways, We did offer custom 2 piece adapters to change the bolt pattern to a different number of studs. The first piece would bolt on to the hub, be machine hubcentric, and have a counterbore machined to center the second piece. Dowel pins were also pressed in to handle timing as well as shear loads. The second piece had the wheel side bolt pattern machined and pressed in studs, and was bolted together with staggered countersunk cap screws. I'm a big fan of KISS, but this was really the only way to change from a 7 lug to anything else (we have a set left over if any of you guys want to convert your 7 lug F150 & 250's to 8 lug). We also did bolt patterns to go from 6 to 8, 4 to 5, etc... There was a lot of machine work involved so they weren't cheap, but many times my customers would find great deals on used wheels that didn't match, so it would be worth it.

Also - I have a new pair of 2.25" adapters still in stock, along with some random other non-5x4.75" adapters and spacers I'd be willing to let go at half price, as well as some brake ducts (and will be parting out the Z28tt while moving to a Z06...). When I get a chance, I'll update the website. PM or email me if interested...

Andris

Re: Wheel Spacers

I am looking at buying this pair of Z06 Rims 17X9.5 with a 54mm offset. I am planning on putting a 245 40 17 on the fronts and 255 40 17 in the rear
They are actually the center wheels in the pic

What adapter size am I going to need to put on my 88 camaro. Will I need a 2 inch or 2.25 inch. And you said askulte, that you were letting these go at half price in the last post?
