Would you trade my stock wheels for these Outlaw II's?
A guy here locally wants to trade me some AR Outlaw II wheels that came on a Camaro he just bought, they have fairly new Bridgestone tires on them. They aren't my favorite rim and not what I plan on running in the future but thought sine they are "free" that I might do it. Here's my 86':

And here are his wheels (we all know what they look like, but these are the exact ones so you can see condition):

They are 15x7, and I figure down the line I could keep them for track wheels, watcha think? I knda like my stock mesh's though, and they would end up as track wheels down the line too.

Keep the stock rims, those others are kinda weak.

Keep your stock ones. But I've gotta ask...
Are yours the 15" or 16" ones? Those are the 15" ones, right?

His stockers are also 15x7's
His rims are worth more, so why not swap and sell to buy a set you really want?

The car is going to end up with a set of 18's this time around but I will use whatever rims I have currently (trade or not) for track duty. I can put a 275/60 or a 255/60 drag radial on the 15x7's and have enough meat for the track. And yes my stockers are 15x7's. I wouldn't buy them just to sell them, then I would need to spend more money on wheels/tires that I don't need right now. My tires currently are new(ish) as are the possible trade tires. I do alot of trading/selling though through craigslist. I have found some awesome deals on stuff I want and also stuff I know I could turn for a profit, it's been a nice little side business recently lol. Helped pay of some debt so we can buy a house when we move back east next year. I'm upgrading the suspension/chassis first, then drivetrain, then exterior. Car has 61K miles on it so just gonna drive it and get all the underlying parts done now.

my buddy has a blue 89 with the outlaw 2's, they look good, but it's your car so it's what you think looks good and also you might want to think if you would ever want the stock wheels back on it some day, you just never know how your taste might change.

Re: Would you trade my stock wheels for these Outlaw II's?
I don't think I'd ever want stock wheels on it down the line lol. I'm still debating, once I do my brake upgrades I won't be able to fit a 15" rim anyways. I think I could sell the Outlaw II's for more money when the time comes than my stockers so I might do it just for that fact. On my 88' I went from stockers, to 16" 88-90 irocs, to polishing the Irocs, to 17" billet's. Always changing something lol. I just got ANOTHER paint idea in my hood tonight lol. I can NEVER leave anything alone. My 97' Rodeo was bone stock one owner when I got it and when I got rid of it, well it was sitting on 33's, baja rack, tons of lights, rock sliders, manual hubs the whole nine. Made for alot of fun in the desert. It's a disease, but one I'm glad to have, and one my wife puts up with and wants when we start modding her stang.

I ended up getting some Prolite's and yeah, she loves her old Mustangs. She likes most any classic/muscle car but wants a Mustang for herself
Re: Would you trade my stock wheels for these Outlaw II's?
I would keep the stocks. I got rid of my stocks and regret it to this day for some american racing rims. I did purchase some stock ones last night for 30$ with tires but it's still not the same since a couple have curb rash
