I know it says 2.25" adapters, but would 2" adapters work? What would be the widest size tire for the rear...275?

As for tire size....On what wheel? On what rear axle? You willing to do any mods to make what you want fit?

The car is lowered and I'm using the stock 9-bolt rearend in the car for now until I can afford the swap to a 12-bolt. I'll be using the same wheels purple posted the link for a few posts up.

Re: 2 or 2.5 in spacer
4th gen axles are 1 11/16" longer than 3rd gen axles. Right off of Summit using Moser direct fit axles.
4th gen

3rd gen
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSR-A102604/
4th gen axles are 32" and 3rd gen axles are 30.313"(30 5/16")
If it's a 9 bolt then it's a different animal. They have different axle lengths on each side
