Considering 27" diameter tires, will they be a problem up front?
To start this post, I just want to state that I've done a lot of research and I'm well versed in the math for diameters/offsets. Here is the setup I'm considering:
Front:
18x8.5" C6 Z06 replica rims from OEWheelsLLC.com
46mm offset
2" adapters
255/45r18 tires (27" diameter")
Rear:
18x10.5" C6 Z06 replica rims from OEWheelsLLC.com
54mm offset
4th gen rear axle so I shouldn't need adapters.
285/40r18 tires (27" diameter")
I do already have an Eibach Pro Kit installed for approximately 1" drop all around. I figure the 27" diameter tires will gain me a slight bit of ground clearance while filling up the wheel wells a bit more and giving better ride quality (win/win/win).
I'm pretty sure I'd be fine out back, but I'm concerned about rubbing up front with the larger diameter. Has anyone run a 27" tire or taller up front? What do you guys in the know think about this setup?

my front rub a little and they are only 25.7, on a 8" wheel. Im pretty sure with a 8.5 and a 27 you will rub

Has anyone tried running larger diameter front tires? I'd really want to hear about your experiences!

mine are 25.9 high and rub when turned hard over on the back of the wheel well....my tread surface width is 9.5 or so, and car is lowered two inches.
