Summit fast five wheels, wheel stud length ?

Just bought new rims and tires. I bought summit fast five wheels. 15x4 with 1.750 backspacing up front and 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing in back. I just test fitted the rim for the hell of it and the 12mm studs I have on now are way to short. My rearend is getting rebuilt shortly and my new axles are dual drilled for 7/16 press in and 1/2 in screw in studs. I was going to get the press in studs but I have changed my mind and want the 1/2 screw in studs. Question is how long should I get them ? I was planning on useing open ended 60 degree conical lug nuts which is what i believe i need to use on that rim just didnt want the stud sticking out a mile past the lug nut.

I was curious about that too because i want to order the same wheels. A friend of mine has 15x10s but with 5.5in backspacing and regular lug nuts worked fine, so one more inch of bs is too much for stock lugs?

I ordered these today. They should work. From what I understand you dont have alot of thread engagement with the acorn style lug nuts. So I'm going with 2" studs with open ended lug nuts.

You can use regular acron style lug nuts,I'm just going with open ended ones cause i'm getting longer wheel studs. And make sure your axle is drill for the 1/2 20 wheel studs before you go buying what i bought. I have aftermarket axles that are drilled for them. All thirdgens came with 12mm x 1.5 press in studs so you will probably want those.

I mocked up my rims and they dont look like they will have enough threads to grab. You will probably need longer ones.

Your gonna have to at the least cut out the bump stop and maybe work the front of the wheel well.
