There is a guy around here that did the same thing. To me it is just like making a camaro or f bird into a 4x4. I see them and I feel like I've been kicked in the nuts.

I'll disclose that's not my taste, but we frown when people post Third Gens on this website to merely to bash them. Everyone has their own opinion and tastes/dislikes.
