Re: gettin new rims? spacer question
Discount Tire up here won't touch your car if it has spacers. I thought I could order the rims/tires online then have them install everything. They'll mount the tires on the rims but they won't put em on my car if it has spacers.

Re: gettin new rims? spacer question
If you run a 4th gen rear axle, you won't need rear spacers, for 4th gen wheels (& some Vette wheels).
The front will ALWAYS require the adapters up front, to run 4th gen or Vette wheels.

Re: gettin new rims? spacer question
www.billetwheeladapters.com
This website has a large selection of billet wheel adapters. I just got a set of used C6 wheels (18" fronts and 19" rears). And, I'm thinking of getting my spacers from this website. I've searched around on the message boards and it looks like 2" front and 2.5" rear spacers are the way to go with a stock 3rd gen rear end. But, I'd suggest you find picks of other members' cars you like with vette rims and see what spacers they're running. There are alot of posts here talking about what does and doesn't fit well, both at the factory ride height and when lowered (if you're thinking about doing that later).
