Widest LOOKING 315 tire?
I know the BFG KD's are my best bet, but they are discontinued. Also, I'm not a fan of the BFG KDW tread pattern. I know the Nittos, from what I heard, run narrow. I've been looking at the BFG T/A Drag Radials, but are these as wide LOOKING as the KD's? If not, then what, if any, 315 tire is? I'm just looking for the widest possible LOOKING 315 tire there is. Thanks.

Not Sumitomos.
They don't look that bad, but they are H-rated, so they don't have the v-pattern of a Z-rating.
And they run narrow.....More like a wide 295 or narrow 305.
But for half the cost of other 315s & for my use? They fit MY bill great.

Yeah I have the Sumis all around right now. They are a 275. They are awesome tires IMOP. I'll keep Sumis in the front when I widen my rear wheels to 11" from the 9.5 they are now. I just want that fatass meaty tire look in the back without doing a tub lol.

Re: Widest LOOKING 315 tire?
I don't have tubs & my 315s don't stick out past the fenders at all. In fact they are almost 3/4" on, on my 11" wheels. I did have to do some cutting & BFH work to the inner fenderwell.
I wouldn't expect a BFG (or whatever brand) 315 to stick out past the fenders. Sumis ARE narrower than other brands, but not THAT narrow. For half the half of other brands, I was plenty willing to give up 1" of tread.
But when it is time for new tires, I'll probably go for the Khumo 335.
Keep in mind that my GTA is a DD, that never sees the dragstrip or any autocross/road road, so streetability is my #1 priority.

Compared to other tires, yes the price for the Sumis is really good. I did consider their 315, but I read so many times that they are narrow. Are they as narrower than Nittos?

Anybody have BFG T/A Drag Radials in 315s?

I will say this....My Sumi 315s are noisy, when spinning from a stop. SCREEEEEEEEECH! Definitely no doubt when they are spinning.
