Go with a set of nitto drag radials or go 255 with a set of m/t street radials. M/A makes a nice street radial also. Mickey Thompson also has a street series sportsman which have a sporty and aggressive tread design and then the sportsman pro which have a more reserved tread pattern for the strip but the pros run a little wider than what you want. Now if you want a set of tires that are a little less sticky and less race oriented you can do a set of 245 coopers they offer a good price and they stick well. The drag and street radials are going to be the beasts though.

Get the nitto 555 street tires for the front they match up pretty well as far as looks with just more of a street-able design. extreme street i think they are called? Or get them all around and an extra set of rear wheels for some drag slicks/radials when your gonna run it. That's basically what i do. I'm running 245/50/16 Michelin in the rear and 225/50?/16 i believe in the front. Also have a set of summit stars that im still looking for a set of tires for. 15x10 in the back and 15x4 in the front was thinking on the M/T et streets 27/10.5/16 havent got the money for rubber all around now so ive just been doing allot of research.

Eagle F1 GSD3's were the best but Goodyear has none left and are not producing them at the moment (hopefully not indefinitely). Second in line for that size would be something like Fuzion ZRi's or Firehawk wideoval indy 500's.

Ive heard good things about the fuzion ZRi's. Ive also heard they have been hard to find lately idk if thats just a rumor. IMO i dont really like the way the Fuzions look the sidewall writing looks tacky and the tread as well. But i have heard they grip. For a strictly street tire Ive heard that the gsd3s are the best as far as grip is concerned i wanted to pick up a set. I work as a mechanic for sears and the last time I was in the tire basement I saw a set of the gsd3s I looked them up in the comp and sears wants somewhere around 280-300 a piece.
