Test fit a set of 315/35-17 V710's

Tried on a set of 315/35-17's to measure for clearance. Without any body mods, it is rather tight but they will easily fit. Not into cutting up the car but want to make it stick. Recently bought these wheels for a 4th gen, but could not resist seeing how the will work on my Firebird.

Is this with no spacers?

This was with 1-5/16" spacer, but still a little tight inside. I didn't have any more stud length to try a thicker spacer.

Wheels are 17x11 with 50mm offset.

Probably go with a 1-1/2" bolt on style.

Had to rotate tires & could not resist seeing how they fit.

Had them on the front, but did not have the camera at the time...

Love the look. I bet that thing would ride on rails with those tires and that suspension setup you have

I hope it handles good with them... already love it with street tires.

How is the car working for you? Get it any deeper in the 9's... you have the MPH/HP for it.
When do you plan to be back in PA?

My car is working ok, but have some issues with cooling system. Need to work on that abit. Also switched to a new shifter and having problems getting it to "feel" right. Needs more cable adjustments. Also swapped to C5 brakes and need to break those in/bed the pads because it just doesnt feel like I have any brakes on the car at all right now. Hope its because the stuff is all new and just needs broken in.

I'll be back up labor day weekend to work on the car and then hopefully once in later october to hit the track again. I only got out one time this year and it was hot and very windy. Only ran 10.08 but still trapping 140
