Help
I have a 88 Iroc-Z. But I have 15" wheels. Everywhere I'm reading says I'm supposed to have 16" wheels. I'm trying to figure out this whole rubbing til I stop when going slow. Meaning, I can turn until my tire is locked due to rubbing. I thought it was cause I had my rears installed on the front, but I do not see any markings. I do see that my wheels installed on the front is 6mm offset. But again according to my searchings, it's either supposed to be 0 or 16mm. I am running 245/60r15 tires on it. And it rubs on the rear plastic fenders, my sway bar, and the inner fender.
I have replaced my idler arm, inner and outer tie rods, new tie rod sleeves, new drag link, new ball joints, new lower control arm bushings. Even tightened my steering using the adjustment screw.
I'm stumped. I can take a picture of my wheel if it helps people identify it.
FYI, all 4 of my wheels are 15x7 with 6mm offset.

Re: Help
wow now thats a weird problem you got there. I believe some of those 15 inch stock wheels had marks that would indicate whick rim goes on the front or back. Double check on that hopefully that would fix that problem.
I was running the same tire size when I had my 15 inch rims on the car and I never had any rubbing problems thats kinda ackward.
You should try to post some pictures of the rims you have.
Tony.

Re: Help
I will. Headed to work now. Was the stock size, according to wikipedia, the 215/65R15? then the larger tires plus saggy suspension could be the culprit. I'll have pictures posted after I get home. 4am pst.

Re: Help
Monte? As in Monte Carlo wheels. Those were the wheels that came on the car when I bought it. Could it be I have the wrong bs and offset? Plus the bigger tires?
