BF Goodrich g-sport KDW (generation 2) or Toyo Proxes T1R?

Been researching tires lately, and decided that these two tires seem to be in the same league and price range more or less. Both seem to score better than average-->good reviews for dry summer only tires.

BFG:

Toyo:

http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-t1r

Both seem to be a 20k-30k mile tire, which should be fine for a car driven only a couple thousand a year (the tires will age before the tread wears) which is fine, and have good ratings for dry traction. Wet is not important. I also like the aggressive treads on both.

Anyone here who can speak from experience on either of these tires and weigh in with an opinion? I've never run Toyos, and I'm partial to BFG since my current Radial T/As have lasted since 1999 (dangerous I know, done driving on them, must get new tires [and thus wheels] before the car can be driven again) and always treated me well. Neither tire seem stellar, but both are surely a step above the old muscle car white letter Radial T/As I'm on now. Those Goodyear GS D3 or whatever they are called look good but I'm not spending $300 on tires for a car that just cruises and is never beat on or pushed.

Personally I don't really care where the money goes, as I'd like to think I have a broad enough world perspective to understand globalization and that most every dollar invested in a foreign economy will get reinvested in ours at some point. At that, I live in Japan now so there you go.

Please stick to the topic

So Toyo or BFG?

Can you comment a bit more on the g-force sports you have, Tom? I was also looking at those, as they are a little cheaper than the KDWs.

I've rocked the BFG KDW2s for 20k or so and been okay with them. They're more than what you need on the street in my size. Don't kid yourself and think they're lasting 30k though. I went through my first set at around 15k.

Awesome tire. Very sticky in the summer. Almost too sticky. Nice tread design and the "widest" 255 out there. I have 255/50 on all fours. Wouldn't hesitate to get them again.
