off the top of my head, the may be a little rubbing in the rear, nothing a little hammer work wont fix, but its really hard to give you any soild info without the specs of the wheels, offset backspacing ect.

as far as off set, all i know is that its for a 4thgen. that in mind ill just need spacers right? 1.7 and a 2" in the rear?

i asked for a 9.5 front
275/35/18

10.5 rear
295/35/18

they want to give me 265 in the front and 285 in the rear in nitto 555 shipped for $1800. not inc duties... good deal??

id also like to look into different wheel companys. if someone knows of companys that will ship wheel tire combos for a good price that would be great.

as far as the y2k's or C5deep dish replicas that im thinking about, should i see if they offer it in my size or just get the 4th gen wheels so if i ever want to sell ill have a larger market?

Re: deep dish replica wheels/ need help w/sizes

Not all 4th gen rims have the same offset, so you need to KNOW the offset of the wheels your using, before guessing & buying parts (adapter spacers).

This page will show you how the offset changes from wheel to wheel.
http://www.skulte.com/adapterfaq.html And cosidering you are looking at a 10.5 wheel, you need to know the wheel specs, since that is not a stock sized wheel. Contact the manufacturer & ask. Should be real simple to do.

Re: deep dish replica wheels/ need help w/sizes

i recieved an email today with wheel offsets

front 9.5
with a 54mm offset

rear
with a 56mm offset

ive taken your advice and looked at the link youve inc. in your reply, good good info tryed to plug in the numbers but im wondering about this 25.4 number in the example... then mm to inches...?

id really like to find some rims with a deep dish design. if i were to find aftermarket wheels made for a thirdgen im thinking this might creat a larger lip because this room is not taken up for adapter space. you can just look at a stock 16x8 gta wheel and compaire front to back. The front wheels look fantastic. The first day i got my car i noticed this.

25.4mm = 1 inch

2.54 cm = 1 inch

Re: deep dish replica wheels/ need help w/sizes

how do these numbers look?

front wheel
9.5/2 +2.13+ .25= 7.13-5= 2.13 so a 2 inch spacer would work!?

rear
10.5/2 +2.2+ .25= 7.7 so i need a spacer thats 1.7"!?

I have 275/35/18 in the front with no rubbing issues on a 18x9.5 6in BS Centerline Wheels.

295/35/18 is the biggest I would go. Its a tight fit. IROCDAN on the SOCAL board has your same exact set up on his 88 grey rag top IROC. PM him and get his info. His car is slammed. Check out this video. Its the Grey Ragtop IROC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIzl1Q_lfjE

Re: deep dish replica wheels/ need help w/sizes

can someone help me out with a small list of different wheel size combos. i would like to use 9.5 all around or 9.5 and 10.5 in the rear. the list would have to include proper offsets and require no spacers.

im most interested in some mesh wheels that fit bmw's. theres a staggered combo with 8.5 with 13mm off set and 9.5 with a 15mm offset. in the future im going to contact the seller on ebay to inquire if i can purchase 4 9.5" rims. i think that the front wheels will be too tucked, by about a half inch.
