Help: 4th gen wheels (please help!)

I hate the look of fourth gen wheels but they are the cheapest wheels in my area that might fit on a third gen. So, I am about to pick up this 89 Camaro RS in a few days and was wondering if I could take some wheels off a 95 camaro just to use as rollers. Could I just bolt them on without using spacers and still use them as rollers? The car previously had Torq Thrust II wheels on it so I am thinking it might already have spacers so it wouldnt matter. But could I put them on without spacers and just use them as rollers? Could I also put on these?

Not a chance. Without the adapters, they'll hit & you won't get the lug nuts on.

Even if it previously had aftermarket wheels on it it wont work? Is there a way I could do a temporary spacer because I am just going to be rolling it around until I get the car running.

Gotta find a way to fill up the 2" gap that the adapters usually fill up.

You can't take the wheels off your current 3rd gen in your sig, just to get the new one home?

I would except for the facts that I have a slanted driveway, Cant park in garage, dont have jack stands, and it is snowing so I cant see if my neighbor has some and put it up in his driveway. Otherwise that would be a good idea. What are some things I could use to fill it because I am all out of creative ideas.

Re: Help: 4th gen wheels (please help!)

Go to the junkyard & buy 4 wheels that fit. Just plain old spares or whatever they have CHEAP.

Look on your local craigslist & find cheap wheels.

Got a buddy that can loan you wheels easier than you getting to yours.

Buddy that can "store" your car for a day, so that you can pull your wheels of & use them.

Seller let you borrow the wheels on it, long enough to get it home?

He wont let me borrow them otherwise he would jack up the price and I would have to keep them (he only has a set of 3). I am the only one of my friends with a third gen. Checked craigslist and found a set of two for $50. I hope the junkyard is open because they had two third gens last time I checked and one had wheels similar to the ones that used to be on this car (they are older and I am unsure if they hold air) the other one I ma not sure if it had wheels but I guess I can look. It has snowed lately so it makes me wonder if they will be open or not so I will have to check it out. Also none of my friends have garages (that's what happens when you are in high school I guess!).
