Painted my wheels!!!

Well, I painted a spare set I had. What do y'all think?

It looked great before, but then seeing the after pics, it looks meaner, more serious, and makes the before pic seem a tiny bit like a chick car, as they say.

I liked them more before you painted them. I'm not a fan of all polished/all chrome wheels, but solid black (or graphite/any solid dark color) just reminds me of the look you get with black steel junkyard wheels. IMHO, woulda worked if you had left the lips polished/chrome to separate the rim from the tire. Like this:

Call it silver or polished or chromed...It amounts to the same thing to my eyes. Better than all black
(dark) since all dark blends in with black tires, even though I wouldn't choose all silver/chrome/polished myself.

10x better with the grey. I'm usually not a fan of the Y2K rims but painted they look nice with your setup.

100% agree......

use a black that matches your stripes, and leave the rim silver. that would look great
