Refinishing Z28 Wheels??

Anyone here know the best way to refinish an 84 Z28 wheel? I know of a media blaster that would probably blast the paint off, but have no idea where to get the original color of the wheels? I don't want chrome or polished, I love the stock look, but after 27 years...well ya know they ain't pretty anymore.

I know 58mark did his a while back.

I think the best way to get rid of all the old paint is us a paint stripper (aircraft stripper works the best)
As for the original color... maybe do some hunting around. Or just go for a color of your choice now that you can.

Well the BEST way will be a media blaster but a good way if you don't have access to a media blaster is to use the aircraft stripper. I used that when I refinished my IROC wheels. Works quite well but DON'T get that **** on your hands... it BURNS! haha I used an automotive 2-stage paint and used a few more coats of clear to resist chipping as much as possible... cheap paint yes but it looks good.
