Picked up Some Z06 Wheels

I just picked up a set of Z06 black polished wheels. They are 18 x 9.5. I am doing some research on oh wide of tires will fit under my fenders. Who has experience with this? I was looking to hopefully fit 275's in the front and 315's in the back. Any clue on this?

Awesome, thanks a lot, I think that size look real good on there. What type of tires do you have on there? Do you like them? I was thinking about going with some Nitto NT555RII's of the Toyo Proxies RA1's There pricey but hopefully will be worth it.

Re: Picked up Some Z06 Wheels

a 315 is not a good fit on those wheels, they should be wider for that.

My buddy has a 9" wheel and he's got 315's on the rear of his, takes it to the strip and everything, never had a problem.. Hmm. Thats why I was asking tho, 315's seemed a little too big for the rim width. Thanks guys.

check the vette wheel post. there is alot of info on there that will help. on a 9'' wheel 285's would be max. im running 275's on 17by 9.5 and 305's on 18 by 10.5.Name: camaroparkinglot.jpg

Thanks, I have hankooks on the original wheels that are on now. I haven't had too much problems. They started cracking pretty quickly though it seemed to me.

but what size wheel is it? 315 is meaningless without the wheel diameter and aspect ratio.

im sure you can squeeze a 315 on a 17x9 wheel, but that doesnt mean its recommended, or correct.
