Hello I have a 1988 camaro I was missing around with it today and I notest it had wheel locks i do not have the lug nut to take them off what do I do???
you can have a tire shop remove them for you or try and remove them yourself by pounding a smaller socket on the locked lug nut and removing it that way. I would just take it to a tire shop.

If they are factory wheels locks, find a local GM dealer that has an Amcor master set. Check here.Originally Posted by BigJon88

when all else fails, ive welded a lug nut to the locking lug nut.

Ok. Then either convince the dealer to let you bring the master kit home, or you will have to ruin the nut.Originally Posted by BigJon88

I've always wondered if a gatorgrip would be able to spin a wheel lock off.

Highly doubtful. Most locks, including the factory Amcor's are round.Originally Posted by Impaqt

ya it round and smooth i am going to call a dealer and see if i can work something out
I used these to get a couple of wheel locks off the back tires at a pick-n-pull. Under $20 at Autozone. Largest one ate grooves into the smooth surface, next one was able to grip and turn. Had to use a hammer too.
Thanks I will try it I'll run to autozone and check it out
I got something that will take it off for you Jon as long as you dont plan on using the wheel locks again. It will take 5 minutes.
