my 4th gen rim swap (vs 3rd gen wheels on 4th gen rear end))
threw some 4th gen salad shooters on my 84 z28 today. ive had a 4th gen rear end in the car for a few years now (from 2000 SS) and got sick of the back tires sticking out. maybe this will give someone some reference in the future on the spacing comparison
84 z28 4th gen rear end with stock aluminum 5 spokes, hoosier 235/60/15 street tires

84 z28 4th gen rear end with 4th gen salad shooters toyo proxes 245/50/16 tires

side view of salad shooters, front has been lowered around 1" and it has iroc springs in rear

also for reference i found the rims + centercaps on craigslist for $80, tires almost brand new off a friends 300zx who upgraded wheels for $245, 2" spacers for the front ran $65.98 shipped from titan wheel accesories, and mounting and balancing from a local NW tire ran $43.96 so in total i have around $435 into everything start to finish.

wow those look surprisingly good. I've been looking for a set of 16s for my daily driver to replace the stock 15s with peeling clearcoat. its actually getting harder to find good performing 15s nowadays for a decent price since they aren't so common anymore.
