Take a look and tell me what you think!

I am look at install these rims on my car. Do you think they will look good? They are a 18x9.5 with 54 offset and 7.38 back spacing. I am also wondering what size spacers I should use? I was think 2" spaces. Please let me know what you think and what size adaptors I should use! Thanks

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

I think those would look pretty sick on your car. 2 inch spacers.

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

I would look to see if you can buy those or something similar, if your attached to that style, in a size that doesn't require spacers to put them on.

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

Personally I like the car the way it is..... it looks very nice.
I would not change them.

If you must change wheels, mock up them with some cheap spacers & try to get the wheels inward as much as possible so they do not stick out on the front.

You can use a few small pieces of tubing the tightly fits over the wheel studs & a few stacks of washers to mock them up.

Then buy a good set of spacers in the exact size needed. You may be able to run much less spacer with 18's, maybe 1.5" to 1.75" depending on the inner wheel barrel shape. The 18's give much more tie rod clearance than smaller wheels. Your tightest clearance may be between the strut & the wheel.

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

You asked us if we think black rims will look good on your car, so I'll tell you. No, I don't like all black rims, especially on Camaros. On some Camaros a brushed gray works, but only on a very few. I don't understand this infatuation with all black rims nowadays. I think you'd be better off keeping the rims you have now and lowering it. Get a better stance not a rim that rice burners like.

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

In his defense it's not really an all black rim, it has the high polished lip. Same thing my Z06 wheels have. I say go for it, those wheels will look great on your car.

Don't get me wrong though, the stockers are awesome too but I'm a sucker for vette wheels on 3rd gens!

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

Rims look Good, 2" spacers would be perfect. I actually like the black inside with the lip polished. I personally prefer polished or powdercoated over crome anything.

Re: Take a look and tell me what you think!

Im running those wheels in a 19" setup. I went with the deep dish 19's all around. I am using a 2.25" spacer.I like them.

Im running a 275 width tire up front and 305 tires in the rear.
