wheel opinion needed

Found 2 sets of wheels locally on CL but i want some opinions. first set are 17" but 10" rears and i dont want to stick out past the edge of the car. The second set are 16" x 8" wheels. What would you guys suggest as the better deal or opinions on looks. I personally like them both.

Re: wheel opinion needed

about 6-6.5 for a 10" wheel, but since they are on a 2nd gen, chances are they have too little back spacing to fit your car.

Re: wheel opinion needed

Save your money and get something else. IMO both those wheels are ugly. They are what give our cars bad names.

Re: wheel opinion needed

Both sets will need new tires. The first rims are pretty unattractive. Wider IS better so long as they don't stick out. Beat him up on the price of the second ones if you like the size. Figure in that you might spend 400 on the new tires...

....I beleive mine are a 6" but I could have gone with a 6.5 but I think the 9" that i installed is a lil' narrower that the stock one so I sould tuck under the wheel well.....
