Going to cut ond beat on the car for the first time!
Going to Cut on the Car for the First Time.
doing the Rear Wheel Mod...(Cut and beat) bump stops and
iner finder.
The 2nd Set of weld Wheels RT-S Wheels are
15 x 9.25 (10 and 1/2") from out side lip. to out side lip. 6.5" back space
the first set 15x10.25 almost 12" from outside to outside lip...
the wheels should be in this week or the nexed. weld shipped them out on Nov 28th.
will have to see how the Billet alum LCA. fit with the new wheels.
the fronts i had 3 1/3 wide Wheel. But Low Pads Did not fit the new willwood brake calipers.
had to send them back and go with Med Pad Wheels in the RTS Line.
the willwood calipers are 1/2 thicker. and would touch the back of the wheel face.
The Weld Drag Lights. are now coming off My Z28. (almost 19 years old and still look Brand new)
anyway the back tires for the street for now are mickytomson sportsmen
29x12.5 x15 (i got a good deal on a new set) $200
thats why...lol
Looking forward to getting them on

Re: Going to cut ond beat on the car for the first time!
i just did that a few months ago, i too have the weld rts.15x10-6.5 bs. i didnt really have to beat on anything.unbolt the bump stops, and break out the 4in grinder and some cutting wheels. i did have to adjust the bracket on the rear discs that holds the ebrake cable.im running the m/t st's 295's.on the street. im going to be getting another rear set and run the m/t 325 for strip time. from reading and looking, i will def have to do a little massaging for those.

the new willwood calipers are 1/2" thicker then the stock calipers. and the low pad RT-S wheels would not fit.

front RT-S wheels med pad with willwood calipers. all parts are better then stock bolt on. the Gold Zink shows off the Green & Blue/Red flashes. Always liked the gold Zink Stuff
