I am currently looking at getting some new wheels for camaro to give the car more of a bang! i am looking at c6 machined black zo6 rims, c6 chrome zo6 rims, or zo6 c5 rims. I want to go with 18's all the around. i am also open to hearing other options as well. here are pics of my car... and the rims i am looking at...

 

I don't think any of those look better than the ZR1's. Beautiful car, and those wheels look fantastic on it.

Of those 3, I'd choose the C5 Z06's, even though I vastly prefer them in competition gray. Im not a fan of chrome, but if you can get them without the silly rivets all the way around, they'll look nice enough. Those particular machined/black Z06 wheels look awful on these cars - they're best left on the Vettes.. Just my opinion, though.

 

yea i just saw a thirdgen with the black machine rims and didn't really care for it. i like my zr1's but i want to put a 18" rim on. i also thinking of getting the c6 zo6 wheels polised maybe in 19x12 in back and 18x9.5 in the front. i know they fit because i have a 4th gen 12 bolt rearend.

 

Can I vote 'none of the above'? Corvette wheels are so boring anymore.

 

ya i am not sure what rims to get, was just mostly looking at corvette rims. open for suggestions..

I'd keep the ZR1s or go for the C5 Z06 wheels. But really, your car looks good as it is. That money could go into more go-fast parts.

 

Too bad we can't get wheels that look like the new ZR1 wheels to fit our cars.

going to go look at some stock c5 zo6 grey wheels tomorrow.

 

$1800 and you should be able to get into a nice custom 2 piece wheel depending on size. I'd go that route vs. the normal C5-6 wheels that are so common.

 

bought mint c5 zo6 original wheels with tires for 600, they only has 1500 miles on them. tires where literally brand new. will post pics as soon as car gets out of they dyno shop next month(supercharger and roll bar install)!
