Looking at upgrading to 17s, any idea what my stock 89 Turbo TA wheels would be worth? Excellent condition and always garaged, no peeling. Thanks!

 

If they are origional to your TTA, you should think about keeping them.

However, very nice sets go from 5 and up on ebay.

 

I dumped a full set with two new goodyear Z rated tires and a tubular torque arm all for $300... Its amazing how your thoughts of values change when your moving

 

Rears can get you $150/each. Fronts you practically can't give away.

In the end, the value at the time is whatever you'll take & what the Buyer is willing to pay.

 

$350-$450. Anything more and you can pick up a refinished set from Denny.

 

That seems backwards. Everyone and their brother wants fronts because of the zero offset and deeper "dish". Many non f-bodies around here are on four fronts. The rears are useless because of the 1/2" offset.

 

Your right...Dunno why I said what I did. I was backwards.

Get some thin factory aluminum drum spacers & the rears will fit the front just fine, then put the fronts on the rear & the wheels will look right. That is how we did it to my late wife's car, which is now the oldest daughters car.

 

I just ordered 4 front GM refurbs from Denny for $550. Just to give you an idea of cost. Can't wait to get them in.

I looked for a few weeks for un-refurbished wheels and could not find any so I would think you may get upwards of $400. then I read about getting 4 fronts so went that way.
