Will 'Vette Rims Not Fit a 4th Gen Rear?
Hey guys,
I have 1989 Camaro with a 4th gen rear on the car and I picked up some Vette rims on the cheap. I went to test fit them today and discovered that they didn't seem to fit over the wheel hub. They seemed very close, so I cleaned them and oiled them up, but still couldn't get them on.
I have these rims on it now:

These are the ones I am trying to put on:

Do Vette rims need modification to fit Camaro wheel hubs?

They should fit directly some years you have to shave the inside of the rim with some sand paper or a dremel. The rear axles in there sound as if they were from a 98-02 since they are known to have slightly thicker hub flanges.
